Arizona

This trip is more about people than the place. I went to visit Bethany in Arizona. Bethany and I have been friends for 12 years. We were roommates twice while at BYU. The first time we were roommates we lived in the Raintree apartments with Noelle, Sarah, Amy, and Reannan. We had an amazing year and a half with lots of good friends and memories. We also lived together in a house with my sister Kristen and Gretchen. Since our days of living together at BYU we have been a part of each other’s lives via email, calls, and visits. It is amazing and wonderful to me that we are still as good as friends now as we were during college. Most of my college roommates are only a distant memory. But Bethany and I have a lifelong friendship. Her children welcomed me with open arms. I felt very loved and I know that is because their mother loves me. It is really something to have a friendship this special.
